Fort Schuyler
The Stephen B. Luce Library is located in Fort Schuyler, which was built in 1833. Fort Schuyler has served many purposes in it's two century history, including serving as a functioning defense fort, a war prison, a military training center, and now home to SUNY Maritime College.
Ghost Sightings
While there have been no official documented sightings of ghostly activity, Maritime College students, faculty, and staff have reported strange activities in the Stephen B. Luce Library.
